Blog #16

Today I was still working on the button that I talked about last time. It is given me some headache but I am slowly figuring it out. It looks pretty nice so far, and it will look good with my e-folio. Well hopefully by Thursday I will have that button done and can just add it to my project.

Today I worked on the button design that I am going to use on my e-folio. It is pretty cool looking so far, even though it is not finished. I probably will be working on it for another 1-2 block periods, and then I will add them to my e-folio page.

I have been gone for three school days; 2 days of this class. But now I am working on my efolio using Flash Professional CS6. Hopefully I can get things to work right, I haven't used it since last school year.

Today I was working on my E-folio in Adobe Flash Professional CS6. I took a small break from the 3ds Max, so that I could get what is required out of the way. Next time I will probably be working on flash again trying to come up with a cool design for my E-folio. Well that is pretty much all I have to say about that....talk to you guys later.

Right now in 3ds Max I am in process of working on a low poly object. The object is the thing that companies use to wax the floor. So far it looks like this....
I don't know what the name of this strange device but yeah it is going way smoother than the last project. As long as the texturing goes well then I will be a happy camper.

The Barrel was giving me trouble. I had the shape and everything; I did what the book said and for some reason the software won't let me add the textures to the shape. I am now moving onto the other object hopefully it will go smoother than the barrel. :)

I finished the barrel but everytime I try to put on the textures, the program doesn't do what the book says will happen. Since the book used last years version I have no idea what is going on and it is really frustrating. Although it is my fault for choosing a book that used last years version I still wish that would have chose photoshop.

Today I tried to make the barrel dimensions match that of the book. This program is hard to learn and now I know why game designers get paid big bucks.
